The FoxFury Rugo™ Drone Light is a compact, rugged and highly versatile lighting system designed to enhance drone visibility, improve safety during night flights, and provide powerful illumination for aerial photography, inspection and search‑and‑rescue missions. The Rugo™ R1S Drone Light offers a bright output ranging from 70–700 lumens, with an operational beam distance of up to 100 ft (30 m), making it ideal for aerial search, inspection work, and general utility lighting. It comes equipped with a Quick Swap® Power Pack with Strobe, providing four modes—low, medium, high and strobe—which meets FAA regulations for UAV night flight and anti‑collision lighting. The strobe mode ensures the drone can be seen from up to 3 statute miles and flashes at 90 cycles per minute for maximum visibility.

For aerial photography and videography, the Rugo™ RCS version features a high‑CRI (92) light head offering 70–620 lumens of daylight‑balanced output (5700K). This enables more accurate colour rendering and improved clarity for professional imaging tasks. With an effective beam distance of up to 50 ft (15 m), the RCS is ideal for close‑range lighting, drone cinematography and inspection work requiring true‑to‑life illumination.

All Rugo™ models include the innovative Tri‑Lens® sliding system, allowing users to quickly switch between spot (25°), mid‑range (55°) and flood (120°) beams without tools. This ensures the right lighting profile for any mission—long‑distance spotting, wide‑area lighting or close‑up inspection. The lights are built with rugged aluminum and nylon construction and are fully waterproof and submersible up to 60 ft, making them suitable for harsh weather, wet environments and underwater operations.

The rechargeable Quick Swap® Power Pack delivers 1–6.75 hours of runtime and can be replaced instantly in the field for extended missions. Multiple mounting options allow the Rugo™ to be fitted to a wide range of drones—including DJI Matrice, Inspire, and Phantom models—as well as action cameras and light stands.
