Repairs & Servicing

Horizon carry out repairs of a wide range of equipment and specialise in the repair, servicing and calibration of hydraulic crimping and cutting tools and hydraulic pumps. We are an Approved Service Centre for Klauke, Burndy and Prysmian/BICC and also carry out repairs and servicing on a wide range of other hydraulic tools.

Our workshop features a unique test rig capable of producing 700bar / 10,000psi – this is ideal for testing and calibrating hoses, crimp heads and cutting heads which require high pressure testing. We also have the latest technology in force sensors and pressure measurement for calibrating Klauke new generation battery crimping and cutting tools, and can download statistical evaluation data from these tools including average crimping process, number of cycles the tool has performed, test certificates etc.

We believe the service we offer is the best in the business, with competitive pricing and 95% of quotes for repairs being carried out within our 3 day target time. Most repairs are completed within a further 3 days of the go-ahead to carry out the repair (availability of parts permitting), meaning the vast majority of tools are back in service within a week of us receiving them. Tool collections can be arranged to simplify the process for our customers.

If you have not tried our repair service before, please give us a go and see if we can out-perform your current repair house.
