Low Voltage Insulator Cover

Designed to cover ‘D’ iron, insulator and pole fixing on low voltage systems. This two part cover is vacuum formed and manufactured from the same high specification polypropylene material as our Insuline product, with excellent insulating and flame retardant properties and a high resistance to UV ageing and water absorption.

Each half of the insulator cover shell has a foam gasket along the edge which allows one or more conductors to enter from any angle. The foam gasket is compressed onto the conductor producing a semi weather resistant seal. The gasket is a closed cell expanded neoprene with excellent resistance to flame, oils, ageing and chemicals.

Once applied, the two halves are held together with 2 x black reusable 800mm long cable ties. The image above shows the Low Voltage Insulation Cover in use with our black Corrugated Jumper Cover.
