PIAB Dynamometer

The PIAB dynamometer is an all-weather instrument for weighing and measuring mechanical forces. Equally suited for use out in the field or in the laboratory, the dynamometer has an easy to read analogue scale displayed through a window. The power absorbing element of the dynamometer consists of special Belleville type spring washers designed to be entirely free from wear. The spring washers cannot be overloaded.

The dynamometers have a safety factor of 5:1 and are accurate to ± 0.6% of the maximum capacity. Each instrument is corrosion resistant and fully pressure tested and neatly packaged in a sturdy wooden box.
