Remote Torque Wrench

Horizon have developed a tool and method for remotely installing nuts and bolts onto overhead railway line infrastructure whilst working at ground level. Using a Milwaukee ½” square drive right angle torque wrench, in combination with our unique holding and operating tool, the user is able to place a threaded bolt into the overhead line infrastructure hardware and tighten a nut to a predetermined torque to ensure each and every installation is verifiable on critical infrastructure.

We can supply the tool on a fixed length 8ft operating tool which can be used in combination with low level access equipment or adapted to fit on to telescopic operating rods allowing installations at heights up to 30 feet. Has the potential to be used on live equipment where safety rules allow.

Milwaukee wrench has a torque rating of 17-203Nm and is easily adapted for forward and reverse operations. Memory function allows saving data that can be used to certify that installations are to specification. Large LCD screen.
