Tirfor® Series TU

These hand operated units are useful for pulling or hoisting heavy items of equipment and are also often used to tension conductor. They have neither wheels or gears but two jaws alternately pull on the wire just like hauling a rope by hand. Wire ropes are supplied separately and are fitted with a safety hook on one end. The T500 series is lighter, the TU series is used where greater durability is required.
